In the US, Spirit Airlines mistakenly sent a 6-year-old boy to the city of Orlando, in the state of Philadelphia, instead of Fort Myers, in Florida.

It was the child’s first flight, and it became like a continuation of the movie “Home Alone” in Philadelphia, writes The Guardian.

The boy’s grandmother, Maria Ramos, expected him to arrive in Fort Myers, but instead he landed in Orlando. And the boy’s luggage was delivered to the international airport in Florida.

Maria Ramos said her grandson called her after landing in Orlando. To pick it up, she drove almost 260 kilometers.

I want the airline representatives to call me. Let them tell how my grandson ended up in Orlando? Did they get him off the plane? The flight attendant, after his mother gave him the documents, let him go alone? Did he get on the wrong plane himself?“, says the grandmother.

The airline offered to reimburse Maria Ramos for her trip to Orlando and assured her that an internal investigation was underway, and apologized to the family for the unfortunate experience.
