A drink based on chicory root is probably the most popular and most similar to coffee alternative. The root is fried and crushed or a thick mixture is prepared from it, which is then brewed. The result is a caffeine-free, but tasty and aromatic drink.
“In addition to its excellent taste, which also goes well with milk and herbal drinks, chicory is also very useful. It is a rich source of inulin, and therefore promotes digestion and supports intestinal health. In addition, it can stimulate the liver to produce more bile, which is very useful for fat digestion.“, Yevhen Klopotenko notes.
Since chicory is already sold in a convenient soluble format, you do not need to worry about how to cook it. Just pour boiling water and stir.

Golden milk – it is essentially warm milk with lots of spicy spices, including ginger, cinnamon, turmeric, black pepper, often – honey, vanilla and cardamom.
