In November, American facial plastic surgeons will arrive in Lviv, who will perform free reconstructive operations on military and civilian people who suffered face and neck injuries as a result of the war. This is the third Face to Face mission to Ukraine, Ivanna Nebor, the founder of the medical platform INgenius, who is participating in the mission, tells “UP. Life”. American doctors, together with Ukrainian colleagues, will select patients for reconstructive operations on the face and neck. For patients who are selected to participate in the mission, the operation and stay in the clinic will be free. To the letter, the patient must attach copies of statements (if available), photographs and images of CT, MRI, etc. studies. After reviewing the application, you will receive an answer about the result – whether they can help, as well as details about the place and date of the surgical intervention. According to Ivanka Nebov, during the two previous missions, the medical team operated on 50 patients with traumatic facial defects. The humanitarian program was created in cooperation with the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the organizations Razom for Ukraine and INgenius.
