An aquarium cleaner who molested a client’s 13-year-old daughter will be tried in Kyiv

In Kyiv, a 40-year-old aquarium cleaner was charged with molesting the 13-year-old daughter of the owners of the apartment where he worked.

The man exchanged phones and created a secret time with the girl in the messenger, are reported in the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office.

According to law enforcement officers, the suspect was hired by the girl’s father to clean the aquarium in their apartment. The master visited this house once every two weeks.

“Having gained the trust of the family over many years, the man began to show interest in the daughter of the owner of the apartment and exchanged phone numbers with her”the police say.

After that, the man from Kyiv created a secret chat in the messenger, setting it up so that the sent messages disappear within one minute.

In the chat, the suspect had obscene conversations with the minor and sent her content containing pornographic material, including child pornography, the police reported.

When the adults were not at home, the man recorded a video in which he performed sexual acts on the girl’s bed, after which he sent the video files to the child.

In a comment to “UP. Life”, an employee of the press service of the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office, Iryna Vynokurova, said that her husband hired back in 2013.

According to the spokeswoman, the suspect had been corresponding with the child since March 2022.

“His family had known and trusted him for a long time. It is known that the man stayed in the room with the girl when the adults were at home. The girl’s parents contacted the police as soon as they heard the news from the child“, – says Iryna Vynokurova.

According to the police, during a search of the suspect’s apartment, files with child pornography were found on his computer.

Kyyanin was charged with lewd acts against a minor and intentional possession of child pornography without the purpose of sale (Part 2 of Article 156, Part 1 of Article 301-1 of the Criminal Code).

He faces up to 8 years in prison.
