In Belgrade (Serbia), the European Martial Arts Games among students ended, during which the student team of Ukraine showed a high result. According to the results of two days of competition, young athletes won 216 awards: 90 gold, 67 silver and 69 bronze, reports the Ukrainian Federation of Student Sports. “Incredible result of the student national team of Ukraine! And the young athletes dedicated each of these medals to our defenders, thanks to whom they got the opportunity to go to such a big international start, to represent their educational institution, the region, Ukraine,” says the head of the Committee for Physical Education and Sports of the Ministry of Education and Sports and head of the delegation Vadym Stetsenko. At the European Open School Combat Games, Ukraine was represented in 5 sports: freestyle wrestling, Greco-Roman wrestling, sambo, WTF taekwondo and judo. The European Martial Arts Games among students ended in Belgrade “We train in the basement. Even when there are alarms and explosions, we continue to work to take high places.
