In Kyiv, architects approved the fonts that will be used on the track walls of two subway stations in the capital. We are talking about the renamed metro stations “Zvirynetska” (former name “Friendship of Nations”) and “Square of Ukrainian Heroes” (former name “Lev Tolstoy Square”). The author of these fonts is Bohdan Gdal, reports the official Kyiv portal. The author of the fonts was Bohdan Gdal “Bohdan Gdal is a font designer who, on his own initiative, started work on creating new inscriptions for stations at the beginning of this year. The artist’s idea was supported by the architects of the renamed stations and provided all the necessary approvals. After all, making changes to the existing architectural design, in particular and to the architectural appearance of the name of the metro station, is carried out exclusively in agreement with the architect of this station,” the city council explains. We are talking about the stations “Zvirynetska” (former name “Friendship of Peoples”) and “Square of Ukrainian Heroes” (former name “Lev Tolstoy Square”) We will remind, in May of this year Kyiv Council supported the decision to rename the stations “Lev Tolstoy Square” to “Ukrainian Square” Heroes” and “Friendship of Peoples” on “Zvirynetsk”.
