As a child born on TOT can be registered online – explanation of the Ministry of Justice

[ad_1]

The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine has developed a mechanism for registering children born in the temporarily occupied territory. This service is currently available online.

As reported by the Ministry of Justice, there are quite a few cases when a child was born on the temporarily occupied territory, and the aggressor country demands to accept the citizenship of the Russian Federation and register the child according to its laws.

Parents or relatives should send an application and copies (scans or photos) of the necessary documents to the e-mail address [email protected].

Immediately after birth registration, a copy of the child’s birth certificate is sent to the e-mail address of applicants.

In order to obtain the original birth certificate of the child’s parents, relatives or representatives by proxy, it is necessary to apply with the original documents to any department of the RACS in the territory under the control of Ukraine.– the Ministry of Justice notes.

The list of documents that must be submitted to register the birth of a child:

  1. Application for birth registration (optional form).
  2. Passport of the parents (one of them) and the applicant (if the state birth registration is not carried out by the parents, but by another person).
  3. Marriage certificate (if available).
  4. A medical document that is the basis for birth registration.

The Ministry of Justice adds that in the absence of the necessary documents and the refusal of the RAC, it is necessary to apply to the court to establish the fact of the birth of the child.

You can also submit an application to establish the fact of the birth of a child through the “Electronic Court” state system.
