As a result of the attack on Kyiv, the Pronto Film studio was damaged

On Thursday, March 21, during Russian shelling in Kyiv, the Pronto Film studio was damaged. That night, the Russians launched Daggers, in total about 30 missiles were shot down over the capital. Director Oles Sanin informed about its consequences.

“I shot almost all my films here. People are whole! And cinema is made by people. Windows will be glazed, walls will be repaired. Let’s live!Sanin noted.

The film studio created a number of films, in particular, a historical drama “Guide”a psychological thriller “Delirium” and the movie “Dovbush”what became the highest grosser Ukrainian feature film of 2023.

In the comment for UP. Culture general producer and owner of the Pronto Film film studio Maxim Asadchy told about the damage.

“The debris of the rocket fell 30-40 meters from the studio, so the blast wave immediately reached us. It destroyed the windows – some cracked, some were simply knocked out. The inner door was also damaged, a crack went along the wall and it was almost blown away. Some of the doors simply split in half, others simply do not open. But what remains to be done, we have already sealed everything and will restore it“, the producer said.

About massive rocket fire

On March 21, the Russians launched a missile attack on Kyiv. At that time, the city was attacked by Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 cruise missiles from Tu-95MS strategic bombers and ballistic missiles from the territory of the Russian Federation, air defense was working. A total of about 30 missiles were shot down over Kyiv.

Ten people were injured in a Russian missile attack on Kyiv in the morning of March 21. Debris fell on a kindergarten, an apartment building, several cars also caught fire.

The very next night, March 22 the Russians inflicted combined shelling on the territory of Ukraine. It became known that at least 5 people died, 14 – according to other data 16 – people were injured and 3 are considered missing.

The State Emergency Service noted that the occupiers attacked infrastructural facilities, as well as the destruction of residential buildings. Zaporizhzhia, Khmelnytskyi, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Mykolaiv, Vinnytsia, Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk were under Russian attack. Several missiles were also shot down over Kyiv.

Russian invaders they hit hydroelectric structures and the Dnipro HPP dam in the Zaporizhzhia region, a fire broke out at the station, but there is no threat of a dam breach.
