Rock musician and multi-instrumentalist Oleg Skrypka released the epic clip “Nomad”. He dedicated the video to all male warriors who defend Ukraine. The video about the traveling warrior was partially generated by artificial intelligence, the press service of the musician reports.

The title of the song “Nomad” refers to the ancient name of nomads and travelers. As the creators of the clip noted, a military epic is not just a hero’s journey, but an attempt to understand his inner world. In the video, the focus was on the male figure of the soldier, and the woman plays the role of his protector.

“This video is about each of us, about the path of every Ukrainian – a Cossack-warrior who realizes that his main mission now is the defense of his native land. And the Ukrainian land appears in the image of a woman and carefully weaves that magical chain mail that will save the warrior-traveler“, Oleg Skrypka shared.

She became the director of the clip Alina Dianovawho created videos for a Ukrainian band “Second River” and foreign musicians – an Italian singer Andrea Bocelli and a Canadian, a 16-time Grammy winner David Foster. With the help of artificial intelligence, Dianova’s team tried to create new visual effects that would resonate with the audience.

Ukrainian music and artificial intelligence

It is not the first time that Ukrainian artists use artificial intelligence to create music videos. earlier, in 2023, the song “TUMAN” by the electronic group PROBASS ∆ HARDI was released with the participation of the band DakhaBrah. The basis for cooperation was the Ukrainian folk song “Fog rolls along the ravine”.

The authors were inspired by the combination of Ukrainian folklore and electronic music. Therefore, it was reflected in the video, which visualized the “Ukraine of the future” with new technologies, but recognizable landscapes.
