Meteorologists set a new temperature record in Kyiv.
The weather at the end of the year corresponds to the end of March, reports the Central Geophysical Observatory named after Boris Sreznevsky.
According to observations, the average daily air temperature on December 26 was +5.9°C.
According to climatologists, this is 0.1°C higher than in 2015, when the previous record was set.

“According to the climatic norm, the temperature on December 26 corresponds to the end of March”– the observatory notes.
We will remind that the day before, on December 19, another temperature record was recorded in Kyiv, and on December 20, the positive temperature in the capital broke the 40-year record.
Earlier, we reported that this year, the longest frost-free period was recorded in Kyiv.
At the end of October, forecasters set temperature records in 5 cities of the Kyiv region.
