At least 20,000 Ukrainians will complete NMT abroad – MES

As part of this year’s admissions campaign in Ukraine, about 260,000 applicants are expected.

More than 220,000 future applicants have already successfully registered to participate in the National Multi-Subject Test. Among them, almost 20,000 are willing to take the exam abroad.

He noted that currently the number of future applicants in the system of the Ukrainian Center for Evaluation of the Quality of Education almost corresponds to the level of the previous year. The official expects that by the end of registration, the available numbers will approach last year’s figures:

“These numbers are quite similar to last year. And last year, I will remind you, there were 260 thousand. We still have a week – registration continues until April 11.”

Vynnytskyi said that there will also be an opportunity to register after the deadline, but it should not be abused.

First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Andriy Vitrenko on the telethon on April 7 emphasized on the importance of maintaining the number of Ukrainian applicants.

“We have to attract children to the Ukrainian national sphere of education, so we are doing everything we can so that as many applicants as possible return to Ukraine,” he said.

It is known that instructors who speak Ukrainian will work in foreign examination centers.
