Bizhan Rashidovych Sharopov is a Ukrainian scientist, physiologist, and fighter of the 112th separate brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
He was an active participant in the Revolution of Dignity, in 2014-2015 he fought in the Aidar battalion. After the service, he defended his candidate’s degree and started teaching. Bizhan Sharpoov was the head of the Council of Young Scientists of the Institute of Physiology named after O. O. Bogomolets of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in 2019-2021, a researcher at the Department of Neuromuscular Physiology of the Institute of Physiology.
With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he joined the ranks of the Armed Forces. Since April 2022, he was considered missing. Only in 2023 did the news of Bizhan Sharopov’s death come.
