Blood donors are offered free admission to museums and theaters in Lviv

The action started in Lviv “Filling”in which everyone is offered to become a blood donor and receive a free visit to cultural events – performances, exhibitions, concerts or excursions.
The campaign started on the Day of the Ukrainian Volunteer, March 14, and will last for a month – until April 14. During this time, all donors who donate blood at the Lviv Regional Blood Service Center or the City Blood Bank will be able to choose a cultural event to attend.
The idea of ”Filling” belongs to the Lviv Institute of Cultural Strategy. Last year, such an action was held in the city for the first time.
According to the director of ISK Yulia Khomchyn, “Filling” is about gratitude and unification of actors around the promotion of blood donation. “We, people of culture, representatives of various cultural institutions unite to help our doctors save the lives of military and civilians who suffered in this war. The action “Filling” is designed to foster a culture of blood donation and willingness to help save the lives of others in society“, she noted.
In total, 30 cultural institutions of Lviv and the region joined the campaign. Among them is the “People and Dolls” theater, whose director Oleksa Kravchuk joined the army on the first day of the full-scale invasion. “Before my eyes, my brothers lost their lives because they did not have enough blood. Today, donating blood is our battle kit with you. We must take care of those who protect us“, Kravchuk emphasized.

Also on the list is the Lviv open-air museum, I Gallery, the Lviv Music Museum of Solomiya Krushelnytska, the Lviv Organ Hall, Jam Factory Art CenterLviv Historical Museum, Lviv Palace of Arts, Municipal Museum “Territory of Terror”, Historical and Local Lore Museum in Vynnyky, Reserve “Tustan”, Drohobytsk Saltworks, Music and Drama Theater named after Yuriy Drohobych, State Reserve “Naguyevychi” and many others.
