Charity auction of collectible works of modern Ukrainian artists to meet the needs of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

From August 30 to September 7, the Goldens auction house together with the TARYAN GROUP investment and development company will present a POP-UP project: the charity auction “ART CAN HELP. Contemporary”.
The collected funds will be directed to meeting the needs of the 131st battalion of the TRO of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. These are, among other things, the acquisition of the Valkyrie air defense system, the Sirko air defense system kit, the replenishment of the FPW kamikaze drone fleet, and the completion of the project to create a combat vehicle based on the BRDM-2 using the GSH-23-2 air gun.
The collection of the auction will include collectible works of famous modern Ukrainian artists, including Anatoliy Kryvolap, Vlada Ralko, Oleksandr Roitburd, Ivan Marchuk, Maksym Mamsikov, Viktor Sydorenko, Nazar Bilyk, Yehor and Mykyta Zigura, Oleg Tistol, Matviy Vaisberg, Oleksandr Babak, Yuriy Koval , Mykhailo Deyak and others.

The exposition of the auction lots, as well as the final bidding, will take place in the space of the penthouse in the first tower of Taryan Towers — a state-of-the-art residential complex in the center of Kyiv, which in 2021 was the first Ukrainian project to be recognized as the best high-rise residential complex in the world (according to the International Property Awards).
The auction selection represents not only current Ukrainian art as a phenomenon, but also provides an excellent cross-section of the development of various genres in the historical and artistic context of Ukraine since independence.
In particular, the genre of landscape, quite widespread, polysemantic and expressive, is represented by the works of Oleg Tistol, Anatoly Kryvolap, Nikita Kravtsov, and Matvyi Vaisberg. Their search can be seen as a comprehensive reflection of a new milestone in the history of art.
At the same time, each work is performed in a completely unique manner, recognizable and characteristic of each represented artist. Oleg Tistol’s masterful juggling of stereotypes, Matvyi Vaisberg’s philosophical contemplation, Anatoliy Kryvolap’s laconic pacification demonstrate the limitlessness of meanings and expressive artistic language.
The boundaries of classical genres are blurred in the works of Vlada Ralko, Maksym Mamsikov, Yuriy Solomko, actualizing the angularity of perception and multitasking of modern art.
Among the top lots of the auction: the work of Ivan Marchuk from the American period from the rare series “New Expressions”; Vlada Ralko’s canvas from the “Military Sanatorium” series, painted in the military sanatorium in Gurzuf during an artistic residency, which acquires special value in today’s context; a piece from the “Manifest” series by Art Copenhagen and German Kolner Liste member Artem Volokitin; the highly social work of Oleksandr Roitburd, as well as the sculptural compositions of prominent contemporary artists – Nazar Bilyk, Yehor and Nikita Zigur.

Aimed at philanthropy, the project at the same time corresponds to global trends in the conceptualization of space by implementing works of art in the interior, and with the presented works, it raises current topics of national identity, physicality, self-awareness and perception.
