Civilians injured in a full-scale invasion have the right to two causes of disability and choose one of them. This was reported by the Ministry of Health. In particular, we are talking about people who were injured by explosives, ammunition and military weapons. Having received a disability, a person has the right to establish two reasons and choose one of them: “Person with a disability as a result of the war” It is established based on the conclusion of the interdepartmental commission working under the Ministry of Veterans Affairs. That is, the fact of receiving an injury or other damage from explosive objects must be registered. Their list is determined by Article 1 of the Law of Ukraine “On mine action in Ukraine”. The law also provides that victims are provided with medical, psychological, professional and social assistance in order to reduce the consequences of injuries caused by explosive objects. Victims can also receive one-time compensation in accordance with the damage caused and the amount for recovery. We will remind you that the Ministry of Health announced the reform of MSEK, which should simplify the mechanism of obtaining disability. In addition, the government approved changes that will make it easier for wounded Ukrainian servicemen to be sent abroad.
