At a concert in Novosibirsk on Sunday, October 22, the leader of the rock group “Night Snipers” Diana Arbenina invited the wife of a Russian soldier who participated in the invasion of Ukraine to the stage and performed her song “A Second Back” with her.

Later, Arbenina wrote on Instagram that representatives of the “Committee of Families of Soldiers of the Fatherland” came to her for a concert in Novosibirsk, who showed her photos of their dead sons.

“My heart breaks. You sympathize with their grief and understand that you can’t help with anything, except to give love, which permeates every minute of the concert,” Arbenina wrote, separately praising Lydia Yastrub, who appeared on stage with her: “she sang beautifully, this is the case, when a person who does not sing professionally sings precisely from the soul and understands every word he utters.

A post also appeared on the Telegram channel “Committee of the Families of the Fatherland’s Families” in which it is said that the activists of the CSVO presented Arbeny with a trench candle, and that the singer “immediately wanted to light it.” It is also confirmed that the leader of “Night snipers” “expressed support for the wives and mothers” of Russian soldiers participating in the war with Ukraine.

After that, dozens of “Night Snipers” performances in Russian cities were canceled, and in the spring of 2023, pro-Kremlin activist Vitaliy Borodin appealed to the Prosecutor General’s Office with a request to check Arbenina for violating the article of the Criminal Code on the discrediting of the Russian Armed Forces.
