On Wednesday, September 27, the first part of the winners of the 44th Emmy Awards in the field of news and documentary films was announced in New York (News and Documentary Emmy Award). News & Documentary Emmy Awards is part of the Emmy Awards for Achievement in the American Television Industry. It is presented by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS).

The awards ceremony will be held on two consecutive evenings: on September 27 – in the “News Television” category, and on September 28 in the “Documentary” category.
