Documentary about Bucha, Zelenskyi’s interview and news from Ukraine won an Emmy

On Wednesday, September 27, the first part of the winners of the 44th Emmy Awards in the field of news and documentary films was announced in New York (News and Documentary Emmy Award). The 44th News and Documentary Emmys received more than 2,300 entries for 2022, with more than 1,000 nominees from the television news and documentary community.

In the “Outstanding writing: News” nomination, the documentary was the best “The Lost Souls of Bucha” (The Lost Souls of Bucha) about the mass burial under the church in Bucha. It appeared on CBS News.

News & Documentary Emmy Awards is part of the Emmy Awards for Achievement in the American Television Industry. It is presented by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS).
The awards ceremony will be held on two consecutive evenings: on September 27 – in the “News Television” category, and on September 28 in the “Documentary” category.
