By the end of the year, the occupiers plan to take 10,000 Ukrainian children from the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Luhansk and Donetsk regions to Moscow and St. Petersburg for an “excursion”.

This was reported in the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Dmytro Lubinets.

The occupiers call this route “cultural enlightenment”.

The ombudsman learned about the activities and plans of the occupiers thanks to the monitoring of informational Internet channels of the Russian and occupation authorities in the temporarily occupied territories.

As the Office explains, the Russians developed the so-called “Cultural Map 4+85” especially for Ukrainian children.

Within it, they created eight “educational” routes, which should introduce children to “the rich cultural heritage of a great country.”

They have already taken children from Luhansk region and Donetsk region on their propaganda “excursions”. Currently, 300 children from the Zaporizhia region are on the waiting list.

According to the Office of the Ombudsman, there is an established program for all routes. Children are taken to performances, parks, and introduced to the city. In addition, they are sent to specially created museum expositions “The Feat of the People” and are encouraged to participate in military quests.

“Contrary to the provisions of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Russian propaganda machine works non-stop. Having tested various methods of eradicating self-identity and belonging to the Ukrainian people among the population of Crimea since 2014, the occupiers have now focused their attention on Ukrainian children who, together with their parents, were forced to come under the rule of the Russian aggressor”, – remarks Dmytro Lubinets.

According to him, the occupiers begin “patriotic education” of Ukrainian children from preschool age, introducing them to “heroes of a special military operation.”

“…forcibly immersing Ukrainian children in the Russian educational and cultural space, the Russian Federation continues its violent genocidal policy against Ukraine. More than one generation of Ukrainians is being erased.” – emphasizes the ombudsman.

We will remind you that earlier it was written that Ukraine returned home nine children from the occupied Kherson region.
