Kateryna is also a postdoctoral researcher in the city of Chemnitz (Germany).

“The team in which she works is engaged in the study of modern problems of approximation theory and the development of algorithms for reducing information complexity that find application in machine learning.” – they tell at the faculty of information technologies and mathematics.

The award received by Kateryna consists of 1000 dollars and a commemorative plaque.

We will remind you that earlier we wrote that the Ukrainian Maryna Vyazovska received the most prestigious mathematical award – the Fields medal, which is awarded once every four years.
