From now on, a certificate for enrolling a child in an educational institution, a children’s rehabilitation and recreation institution can be obtained from a family doctor.
Previously, it was necessary to visit several specialists for this, the Ministry of Health informs.
It is noted that we are talking about basic examinations, namely:
- collection of anamnesis;
- complete physical examination;
- checking the presence of signs of acute illness and chronic conditions;
- measurement of body height and weight;
- research of visual acuity and hearing;
- posture check;
- plantography – examination of the feet.

“On the basis of the examinations, the family doctor forms a generalized conclusion about the state of health, provides recommendations on physical activity and the level of physical exertion, recommendations on additional examinations, treatment (if indicated), preventive vaccinations, the child’s diet, etc.” – noted the Ministry of Health.
All other examinations, clinical and laboratory tests will be prescribed as indicated or based on the requirements of a specific educational institution.
To get a certificate, the child has all vaccinations according to the National Calendar of Preventive Vaccinations.
Medical examinations for enrolling a child in kindergarten or school are mandatory. For admission to other educational institutions, they will be held only when it is a condition of admission.
If the child does not have medical contraindications for staying in an educational institution, he will be issued a uniform certificate.
