He lured her into the garage, forced her to take drugs: a man from Kyiv will be tried for the rape of a 12-year-old girl
A 41-year-old man who locked a 12-year-old girl in a garage, forced her to take a psychotropic substance and raped her will be tried in Kyiv. Juvenile prosecutors of the Dnipro District Prosecutor’s Office sent an indictment to the court, the Kyiv police and the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office inform. For about a year, Kryvdnyk secretly communicated via messenger with a girl who left Ukraine and received social protection abroad. The girl told her relatives, in particular her mother, that she was communicating with a peer. When the man found out that the girl had temporarily returned to Ukraine in April, he invited her to a meeting allegedly for a “walk and conversation.” During the meeting, the child wanted to go home, but he began to put psychological pressure on her and forced her to go to his garage. There, the perpetrator forced the girl to take amphetamine, after which, taking advantage of her helpless state, he raped her,” say law enforcement officers. Having locked the girl in the garage, the attacker went about his own business for several hours. At that time, the girl’s mother was looking for her. “A 41-year-old man from Kyiv ordered the girl to turn off her phone and forced her to take amphetamine, after which she began to feel bad. The perpetrator decided to take advantage of her helpless state and raped the child, then closed it in the garage and went about his business. Since the daughter did not communicate , the mother turned to the police with a report of her disappearance. Within a few hours, we searched for the girl and detained the suspect,” says Valery Jus, head of the investigative department of the Dnipro police department. Thanks to the missing person report and the operative actions of the police, the perpetrator was arrested. He has been held without bail since then.
