How can an applicant find out where a certain profession or specialty is taught: step-by-step instructions

Applicants can determine the universities where they teach in a specific specialty or profession, Online of the Unified State Electronic Database on Education (EDEBO).

How to do it – explained in the state enterprise “INFORESURS”.

You need to choose from the list offered on the website “Registers of subjects of educational activity”.

This page will display a map of Ukraine and a list of regions below. By clicking on each of them, you can see a list of institutions for obtaining higher education.

In addition, the site is available “Advanced Search” by:

• by the name of the institution (name and location);
• specialties (here you can specify the type of data, region, educational degree and specialty);
• professions, where you can also specify the region and future profession.

After choosing an institution from the list, applicants will be able to view:

• how many people acquire this or that specialty;
• whether the higher education institution has a license to train students in any direction;
• get acquainted with the educational programs that they will study in higher education.

In “INFORESOURS” it is noted that in order to find out information only about accredited specialties or attested professions, you need to put a “tick” in the corresponding window.

You can also find various information about admission on the EDEBO portal: competitive offers, rating lists, recommendations for admission to the list of students, as well as checking the authenticity of the pupil or student card, etc.
