In particular, 15% of citizens from the south of Ukraine saw their health deteriorate, and 30% partially experienced changes. In 53%, the condition has not changed. Among the surveyed residents of the South-Eastern regions, 39% say that they feel the same as before February 24, 2022. 32% reported minor changes in their health, and 27% complained of deterioration in their health. In the de-occupied territories, 39% of people who took part in the survey did not feel any changes in their health, 35% experienced a slight deterioration , and 25% of people have many complaints. In the west of Ukraine, the state of health remained unchanged in 52% of the respondents, and in 29% it deteriorated somewhat. At the same time, 19% said that their health had deteriorated. Residents of territories adjacent to the war zone, as well as older people and citizens with a below-average income level, mostly mentioned the deterioration of their health. 66% of respondents reported that their loved ones were injured or maimed. One in ten survey participants indicated that they or their close relatives had been injured or maimed as a result of the war. Of them, 66% documented the facts of the injury. The survey was conducted on December 23-26, 2022 by telephone interview method. The research sample is representative of the adult population of Ukraine. These are people aged 18 and older. They live in all regions of Ukraine, except for the temporarily occupied territories. The error of representativeness of the study with a confidence probability of 0.95 is no more than 2.2%.
