How to order medicines and receive them by “Ukrposhta” – explained by the Ministry of Health – News

Recently, “Ukrposhta” received a license to trade in medicinal products. Now Ukrainians will be able to order and pick them up at one of the post offices or order home delivery by calling the contact center beforehand.
As reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, delivery of drugs is free.
The Ministry of Health noted that almost 10,000 over-the-counter medical products can be ordered through Ukrposhta.
In particular, drugs that are subject to reimbursement (a system according to which the state reimburses citizens for the costs of certain drugs) under the “Affordable Medicines” program will be issued for the treatment of:
- cardiovascular diseases;
- diabetes;
- chronic diseases of the respiratory tract;
- mental disorders, behavior and epilepsy.
It will also be possible to obtain 515 medicines free of charge or with a small surcharge.
Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko is convinced that such an initiative will help solve the problem of availability of medicines, because currently there are more than 20,000 villages in Ukraine where there are no stationary pharmacies.
To solve this issue, the pilot project “Ukrposhta.Apteka” was created, the work of which will begin in Donetsk region and in some border areas of Sumy region. In the future, it is planned to expand its borders and include front-line zones from other regions.

- Medicines can be ordered by number 0 800 300 545. Next, you need to listen to the voice menu and select the necessary options.
- After that, it will be packed and sent by Ukrposhta Express.
- You can track the parcel on the website, in the mobile application (version available for IOS and Android) and through the chatbot on Facebook, Telegram and Viber.
- Also, before receiving, it is recommended to check the contents of the package and the correctness of its configuration.
We will remind you that the first mobile pharmacy started working in Kharkiv region. She works in villages where there are no pharmacies.
