NMT-2024: an additional training version of the test was released – News

The Ukrainian Center for Evaluation of the Quality of Education has prepared an additional training version of the 2024 multi-subject test (NMT).

The tests are posted on the “All-Ukrainian School Online” platform, the UTSOYAO reported.

The training version of the NMT differs from the demonstration version of the 2024 NMT in that the first version is based on the tests “practiced” at the NMT-2023 and published in the official report along with the psychometric characteristics of the tasks.

“We advise you not to miss the opportunity, because, as the experience of successful participants of the NMT 2023 shows, passing the tests of previous years is one of the effective methods of preparing for the test“, – noted in the UTSOYAO.

Here they add: the published training tests of NMT-2023, in addition to potential participants, can also be useful for teachers, because in chapter 3 of volume II of the report, the statistical and psychometric characteristics of the relevant subject tests are represented.

“With this information, teachers will have a wide range of opportunities to analyze the progress of their students. For example, a comparison of the percentage of students who coped with a particular task with the share of last year’s NMT participants who gave the correct answer to it can become the basis for shifting the emphasis in preparation for NMT-2024“, – concluded in the UTSOYAO.

It will be recalled that the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has determined the dates of the NMT-2024 – from May 14 to July 19. During this period, the main and additional sessions will take place.

Also, UTSOYAO approved the characteristics of this year’s NMT. Tests on Ukrainian language and literature, history of Ukraine, biology, chemistry and geography will contain 30 tasks each. It will be necessary to complete 22 and 20 tests in mathematics and physics, respectively, and 32 in foreign languages ​​(English, Spanish, German, French).
