The military medical commission can be passed in more than 800 civilian medical facilities. This was announced by the Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko on the air of the telethon on September 1. “Today, 819 civilian medical facilities have VLK. The head is appointed by the medical forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but doctors work as part of the VLK,” he said. The Minister noted: military personnel who are hospitalized in a civilian institution can undergo the VLK directly there, as well as issue all the necessary documents. If necessary, they can also issue a certificate of injury. Photo from Viktor Lyashko’s social networks “Previously, it (reference – ed.) could only be picked up by a wounded serviceman by contacting the unit commander, but today the government has made several changes to the regulations, and this document is sent to the hospital and VLK through electronic document management. Now servicemen do not need to go for this certificate,” he said. We will remind you that Lyashko stated that Kyiv has the worst situation with the involvement of civilian hospitals to conduct VLC.
