In Bukovina, the beating of a child in the relocated social support center for children “Harmoniya” from Kharkiv is being investigated.
Photos of bruises on the body of one of the students of the boarding school appeared on the Internet, and the editorial office of “Chernivetskyi Prza” reported that “one of the women in the institution systematically abuses children.”
The Prosecutor General’s Office announced the opening of criminal proceedings. However, the director of the orphanage, Alla Trokhymenko, denied that the child was beaten by someone from the staff.
According to her, the children fought among themselves, and she learned about the incident from a nurse who sent a photo of the bruises.
“The children had a fight. The older child hit the younger one with a wire from the charger. Now the prosecutor’s office and the police are here”– Alla Trokhymenko briefly explained the situation in the commentary “UP. Life”.

Now the director of the boarding school in Banylov-Pidhirny is talking to the law enforcement officers.
“A nurse sent me these photos when it happened. I know this photo. And they are spreading it, as if it was done by a teacher. I want the law enforcement authorities to deal with this. We have 45 children, if you interview them, you cannot hide it, if it really was. That’s why I’m not afraid of it,” – said Alla in a comment to “Suspilno”.
The Chernivtsi regional prosecutor’s office opened proceedings on the fact of improper performance of duties regarding the protection of children’s lives and health (Part 1 of Article 137 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
“According to preliminary information, physical pain or moral suffering may have been inflicted on the children,” – say the law enforcement officers.
They are currently conducting a pre-trial investigation.
