In the American state of Florida, a passer-by noticed an alligator with human remains in its mouth. This is reported by Sky News. The nearly 4-meter (13-foot) reptile was spotted by Jamarcus Bullard on September 22. The alligator was in the Largo Canal, 20 miles from the city of Tampa. To see if it was really an alligator, he threw a rock at it. A passer-by saw that the animal seemed to hold the lower part of the human body and pulled it under water. After that, Bullard contacted local authorities. According to FOX 13 Tampa Bay, police in cooperation with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission (FWC) caught and killed the alligator. Human remains were also discovered and examined. The previous victim was a 41-year-old woman, Sabrina Peckham. The state is still investigating the circumstances of the incident and no further details have yet been released. Earlier we said that ancient alligators had teeth the size of bananas.
