In Kyiv, a kindergarten teacher is accused of beating a 2-year-old child

Kiyanka claims that the kindergarten teacher injured her 2-year-old daughter.
The police of the capital have started criminal proceedings regarding the beating of a child.
The mother of 2.9-year-old Vladyslavy Anastasia told about the incident on the social network. According to the woman, the teacher of the daycare group of the state kindergarten No. 513 of the Holosiiv district of Kyiv beat her child.
It remained on the child’s neck a hematoma that was smeared with green paint in kindergarten.

According to Anastasia, the child at home told and showed exactly how the teacher beat her. The parents called an “ambulance”, a medical worker examined the child and recorded injuries.
The mother and child also went to the regional children’s hospital, where the girl was examined by an orthopedic traumatologist.
“Specialist’s conclusion: superficial injury to other parts of the neck, a wound (an irregularly shaped wound measuring 5*1.5 cm is visualized on the front surface of the neck). The daughter was also examined by a family doctor, physical injuries were found and described on the neck, and the child’s condition was determined, as medium difficulty”– writes Anastasia.
The child was also referred to a pediatric neurologist and a psychiatrist. According to the mother, the neurologist diagnosed: “acute nervous reaction to stress”.
“My daughter is 2 years and 9 months old (!), to say that we are shocked by the methods of education at DNZ No. 513 is an understatement. An educator has no moral right to raise a hand against children.” – Anastasia shares.
The woman also noted that after the incident, her daughter is afraid to go to kindergarten.
The police of the capital have started a criminal investigation on the fact of inflicting physical injuries on the child.
The law enforcement officers noted that the girl’s parents applied to them with a statement.
“As it became known, the parents found scratches and bruises on the child’s neck. The police documented the appeal and sent the child’s parents a referral for a forensic medical examination. To find out all the circumstances of the event and work with the family, juvenile police officers were also involved.” – it is stated in the message of the department.
Information on the specified fact is entered in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations under Art. 125 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – intentional slight bodily harm. After receiving the results of the examination, reclassification of the offense is possible.
In the comment of “UP. Life”, the Kyiv police said that the teacher, who is accused of beating, says that the child was injured by a fastener from outer clothing.
It is also known that the management of the preschool institution reprimanded the teacher because she did not immediately notify the medical worker and the headmistress about the child’s injury.
“UP. Life” tried to contact the managers of the children’s institution, but no one answered the phone call.
In the comments to the post of the child’s mother, the Department of Education of the Holosiiv RDA reported that the department had created a commission regarding the incident.
“According to the results of the investigation, administrative decisions will be made. The issue is under the control of the Education Department of the Holosiivska District State Administration in the city of Kyiv and the Department of Education and Science of the Voivodeship of the KMR (KMDA)”, – the message says.
