In Kyiv, an 8-month-old baby was taken from a drug-addicted 26-year-old mother.

An unconscious woman and a child were lying on the ground in the forest park zone in the Obolon district of the capital, are reported at the Kyiv police.

They note that when law enforcement officers picked up the baby and tried to bring her mother to consciousness, the woman began to behave aggressively.

The child was taken to the hospital for an examination, after which it will be transferred to the children’s service.

Later, social workers drew up a protocol against the woman for failure to fulfill parental duties (Article 184 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

Previously, Kiyanka was repeatedly prosecuted under the same article, the police added.

“The punishment will be chosen by the court. It is known that the woman is from the Kyiv region, and the child’s father also lives there.”– spokeswoman for the Obolon district of Kyiv Khrystyna Pyatnytska said in a comment to “UP. Life”.
