Through negotiations, the law enforcement officers managed to persuade the man to let the mother of the former roommate go – the 46-year-old woman climbed out of the apartment window onto the nearby balcony. She was taken to the hospital, where doctors diagnosed a closed craniocerebral injury, concussion, multiple hematomas on the face and a wound on the forearm. At the same time, the husband categorically refused to let his former roommate with the child go. Later, through negotiations, he agreed to release them. The child was not injured, now she is with her mother. “I managed to find a common language with my husband. I told him that no matter what difficulties we are all going through, we must remain human, protect and protect our families. Domestic violence is unacceptable,” said one of the interlocutors. The offender was detained. His actions were classified as domestic violence and illegal deprivation of liberty of two or more persons (Part 2 of Article 146 and Article 126-1 of the Criminal Code).
