In the village of Sergiyivka in the Odesa region, a woman with a newborn child could not get to the maternity hospital due to bad weather.

She was taken there on special equipment, the State Emergency Service reports.

As it became known, while at home, a pregnant woman felt a seizure and called an ambulance, however, due to bad weather, the medics could not get to the woman’s house on their own.

Paramedics were accompanied by rescuers together with police officers.

“The doctors successfully performed the birth at home, but it was necessary to take her away woman and baby to the maternity hospital”the State Emergency Service reported.

However, the mother and child did not get to the hospital immediately.
