Wishert’s partner previously accused him of pushing her to the ground. The man replied that he did it because the woman slapped him.
The couple stayed in police custody for one day, and then they were released, because, according to law enforcement officers, none of the partners had serious injuries and did not want to file an official complaint.
The police said that the pre-trial investigation will continue.
In a letter to the university’s management, Wisherath said he agreed to resign temporarily after agreeing on its terms, schedule and duration.
The man also denied acts of violence.
“I have never and under no circumstances committed such actions. I would like to emphasize that until the end of our stay in police custody, no one filed a single complaint, no legal restrictions were issued.”he added.
