In Ivano-Frankivsk and the city of Dolyna in September and October, the average monthly air temperatures exceeded the maximum of the average monthly air temperatures in these months for the entire observation period.

Near Yaremche in October, the average monthly temperature was equal to the average monthly maximum.

“On certain days of September and October, the absolute daily maxima were reached or exceeded at the weather stations of the regionhad

All autumn months were warmer than normal, especially September and October, when the positive deviation reached 3-4⁰С– meteorologists add.

The meteorological center adds that this year’s autumn in the highlands was one of the wettest during the entire observation period.

The largest amount of precipitation was observed in November, when the amount of precipitation exceeded the norm by more than 1.5 times, and in the highlands by almost 2.5 times.

The smallest of them was in September, when there was a deficit of precipitation.

“This autumn is the warmest for the last 10 years and for the entire period of observation, i.e. approximately since the 50s of the last century. This probably confirms active climate changes.” – reported in the weather center in the comment “UP. Life”.

We previously reported that 2023 is likely to be the warmest year in the last 125,000 years.
