New leadership will be appointed to the Andriiivsk Greek Catholic Church in Lviv, where the clip of Serhiy Zhadan and Khrystyna Solova was filmed.

Clergyman Yustin Boyko announced this on the air of the talk show “Great Lviv Speaks”.

The clip of Zhadan and Solovya caused indignation in the church because the girls were kissing there.

However, the representatives of the temple, where the clip was filmed, gave permission for it themselves. According to Fr. Yustyna Boyka, there was a mistake and the priests did not know what exactly would be on the video.

“The guilt of the fathers is obvious in this situation. In addition to the moral principle, they also violated the principle of church law, which says that the church cannot be used for purposes other than prayer and serving the word of God.” – noted Fr. Justin Boyko.

He also stated that St. Andrew’s Church “was prayed against desecration.”

According to the priest, during the filming of the clip, the church “was defiled” because the heroes of the clip turned their backs to the throne”, and also “in revealing clothes”.

We will remind you that the clip was released on October 20 band “Zhadan i Sobaky” and Khrystyna Solova for the joint song “Heart”. Representatives of the church where the video was filmed asked the performers to remove it. The musicians stated that there is nothing provocative in the video: the clip is a metaphor, and “there is no sacrilege in the work.”
