The terms of passing the military medical commission are reduced to 4 days. This was reported by the Ministry of Health.

The changes from the VLK provide for the following terms:

  • conducting medical examinations regarding fitness for military service – up to 4 working days;
  • conducting laboratory tests – up to 3 working days;
  • conducting instrumental research – up to 3 working days.

“Heads of regional military administrations, heads of territorial recruitment and social support centers, and employees of health care institutions must comply with the specified deadlines.

Also, they should organize rational routes for the passing of the VLK and control that conscripts undergo medical examinations in a separate queue”– the Ministry of Health notes.

In addition, all data on VLC will be entered into the electronic health care system to have quick access to doctors’ records when necessary and to create electronic referrals for diagnostic procedures.

We will remind you that the reform of the VLK system takes place according to the Presidential Decree and the corresponding decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.

At the end of May, an electronic queue was launched to sign up for VLK. It operated in 8 cities of Ukraine. Already by September, the network of hospitals was expanded – it was possible to pass the commission in 819 civilian hospitals, and their number continues to increase.

But there were no deadlines for passing the VLK, so the military could wait several weeks for the commission’s decision.

Inspections are also taking place at MSEK after the story of veterans about the incompetent conclusions of these commissions was publicized. As, for example, Dmytro Oliynyk, who was assigned a lower disability group by the Kharkiv Regional MSEK.

He received a serious injury: doctors managed to save the limb, however, it is not functional. Despite the preliminary conclusions of the doctors, the MSEK commission was repulsed by the fact that the veteran’s leg remained.
