In the kindergartens of the occupied Crimea, costumes of American superheroes were banned for the holidays

Crimean preschools “used sanctions” against Western movie characters. The management of kindergartens on the peninsula occupied by the Russian Federation forbade parents to choose costumes of Batman, Superman, Spider-Man, minions, etc. for New Year’s mornings.

Instead, the educators suggested that residents of Crimea “be inspired by the plots of Russian folk tales” and give preference to the images of heroes and snow girls, writes “Krym. Realii” with reference to rosZMI.

“We are in kindergarten for the first year, but in the morning we were forbidden to wear all these Spider-Man costumes and the like. Only the heroes of Russian fairy tales. All our girls, for example, will be snowflakes.” – a mother from Kerch is quoted by Russian media.

“American superheroes do not fit into the leitmotif of children’s holidays and Russian folk tales”– said the committee of one of the preschool educational institutions of the “Kerch Today” Telegram channel.

Some kindergartens have gone even further: the scenarios of their holidays provide that the girls are not just dressed in the images of “Russian beauties”, but their costumes should be stylized according to gzhel (a type of Russian folk painting in a characteristic blue-blue gamut).

“In certain gardens, that’s exactly what parents were told: not just a Russian beauty in red flowers, but specifically in a blue gel ornament. And the boys – in old Russian blue kosovorotkas.” – said the company that rents out suits.

The so-called Russian “Ministry of Education of the Crimea” claims that no official recommendations were given to kindergartens – the decisions in preschool institutions were allegedly made independently.

It will be recalled that the Russians began to inform the security forces about the rainbow – it reminds them of LGBT.
