In the temporarily occupied territories, they plan to put 17-year-old boys on military registration.

According to the Eastern Human Rights Group, the process will begin in early January.

The occupation administrations are creating commissions for the initial registration of boys born in 2007. This will also apply to older men who are not yet registered in the military commissariats.

From January 10 to March 31, the occupiers plan to register 17-year-olds. Until December 31 – all other conscripts, human rights defenders claim.

The task of searching for and delivering “evaders” to military commissariats was assigned to law enforcement agencies.

At the same time, educational institutions received an order regarding “the timely organization and attendance of students born in 2007 and older for military registration.”

“This fact indicates that the occupiers are preparing for a large-scale mobilization, similar processes were carried out in the spring and autumn of 2021.” – emphasized the Eastern Human Rights Group.
