A four-month-old boy survived a tornado that swept through the state of Tennessee (USA). The tornado tore off the roof of the trailer, and then dragged the playpen with the child.
As The Guardian reports with reference to WSMV-TV, the boy’s family was in a trailer during the tornado.
When the roof of the house was pulled by the tornado, the child’s father tried to keep the bassinet inside, but he could not and was dragged along with it by the elements.
“He just held on to the cradle the whole time, and they circled in the air, and then they were thrown.” says the child’s mother, 22-year-old Sydney Moore.

At that time, she was covering her eldest son, who is one year old, with her body. By that time, the walls of the house had already collapsed, so they were under rubble, but she managed to get out from under them.
They searched for the younger son for 10 minutes and finally found him – he was lying under a downpour on a fallen tree. The child suffered only a cut on the face.
“I was pretty sure he was dead and we wouldn’t find him. But he’s here, and it’s by the grace of God.” – says the mother.
Everyone in the family was cut and bruised, but their home and belongings were completely destroyed.
It will be recalled that a whale that got stuck on a shoal died in Australia.
