The Recording Academy of the United States announced the nominees for the “Grammy” award. Eight out of nine leaders in nominations are women.

The American singer SZA is nominated for the award in nine categories, including the best record (Kill Bill about emotions after a breakup) and the best album of the year (SOS).

Behind SZA is Victoria Monae, who has seven nominations. Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Miley Cyrus, Olivia Rodrigo, Brandy Clark and the girl group Boygenius are next – they have six nominations each, as well as the only performer John Baptiste.

“Watching how women rule the music industry, I’m proud of them,” Milea Cyrus reacted to the dominance of the nominees in her social networks.

The winners will be announced at the award ceremony, which will take place on February 4 in Los Angeles.

Last year, the American singer Beyoncé became the most titled winner of the “Grammy” and received four more statuettes. The singer has 32 awards of this music award.
