In Odessa, festive lights were lit on a Christmas tree in the yard of a destroyed building.
The photo was published by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Odesa region.
“Residents affected by shelling today turned on the garland on the Christmas tree, which stands in the very center of the mutilated inner courtyard of the high-rise buildings.
Only our people, only Ukrainians, have such a thirst for life and the victory of light over darkness! Light will win! Life will win!” – said the rescuers.

We will remind, on December 29, during a massive attack by the Russians, an enemy rocket hit an apartment building in Odessa. She destroyed the apartments from the 2nd to the 5th floor – they were engulfed in fire. As a result of the shelling, 2 people died, 10 were injured, including two children.
On December 29, the Russians also attacked other Ukrainian cities: Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Lviv, etc. The targets were civilian objects: residential high-rise buildings, schools, kindergartens, warehouses.
According to the Office of the President, as a result of the attack, 26 Ukrainians were killed and more than 120 people were injured.
