Currently, the rehabilitation of wounded soldiers is carried out in the Unified Medical Space – in hospitals of the Ministry of Defense, hospitals for civilians of state and communal ownership, and in institutions of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine. The Ministry of Defense has approved the Concept for the Development of Rehabilitation of Wounded Soldiers, which provides for their treatment in specialized specialized institutions, Colonel of the Medical Service, Head of the Military Medical Clinical Treatment and Rehabilitation Center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Andriy Kikh, said. According to him, the concept was developed in order to build a network of modern rehabilitation centers and develop rehabilitation structural units in hospitals within the system of the Ministry of Defense. “Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we managed to combine all state and communal resources to ensure the treatment and rehabilitation of our defenders,” said Andriy Kikh. We need more resources, more qualified specialists who would like to join the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and specialized rehabilitation institutions,” the colonel added. Life”, the adviser of the command of the Medical Forces Yevgenia Slivko said that this concept will help to create a network of rehabilitation centers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Ukraine for the recovery of the military. “Treatment will be more effective, because we aim to attract specialists directly and expand the scope of rehabilitation assistance. Currently, we need specialists willing to join the ZSU. It is important for a person to understand that, conditionally, you don’t just have a shift there from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., as for a civilian, but permanent, because military service is ahead,” Yevgenia Slivko noted.
