In Ukraine, the date of the Medical Worker’s Day, which until now was celebrated on June 18, has been changed. The decree on changing the date to July 27 was signed by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi, the Ministry of Health reports. Ukrainian doctors, who constantly save lives, will no longer celebrate their professional holiday with the Russians, who kill our civilians every day, the Ministry of Health emphasizes. “From now on, they (medics – ed.) will not be united on this date with the Russian killers, who during the full-scale war took the lives of almost 40 medics just at their workplace,” the department notes. After all, it is doctors and other medical personnel who save the lives of others every day under sirens and explosions. “A big thank you to everyone who is holding the medical front today,” the Ministry of Health emphasizes. We will remind you that the Ministry of Health called on medical volunteers to join the work in the flooded regions after the Russians blew up the Kakhovskaya HPP: in Kherson region, Mykolaiv region and Zaporizhzhia region.
