In the 2023-2024 epidemic season, Ukraine will continue to identify strains of COVID-19 and their mutations. This was reported by chief sanitary doctor Ihor Kuzin, Interfax-Ukraine reports. He noted that in each region, experts from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will continue to collect samples, laboratory research strains and study mutations. Currently, according to the health doctor, there are about 14 different strains of COVID-19 circulating in Ukraine.
