In Ukraine, they are planning to change the working conditions of education workers, as well as the rules for salary formation, in particular, for teachers. This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister for Innovations, Development of Education, Science and Technologies, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov during the “August Conference”. “This is the position of the president and the position of the Minister of Education, that we should change the working conditions, the rules for the formation of teachers’ salaries. There cannot be 50 types of additional payments and in the end receiving such and such a salary,” he said. According to the minister, during the introduction of changes, foreign experience in the formation of teachers’ salaries will be taken into account. According to him, 500 schools will participate in the project. “We want the basic part of the salary to be around 80%, bonuses around 20%, and also some regional bonuses and a top-up from the school principal. In this way, we will make the salary clear, transparent, predictable, and most importantly, we want to increase the salary “, said Lisovyi.
