An interesting audio recording “went viral” on social networks of Ukrainians – on it, a man can be heard calling a master who digs and cleans wells, and tells him that his pig fell into a well. A resident of the village of Stepuky, Lokhvytsk community, Poltava region allegedly “confessed” that his wife forgot to close the barn, so a 180-kilogram pig ran out and fell into a 24-meter well. The story sounds fantastic, but his interlocutor – Gennadiy Oleksandrovych from the Sumy region – responds to the request for help. Gennady willingly planned the operation to save the pig and consulted the “owner”. An audio recording with a colorful conversation was posted online – and the fate of the animal worried the listeners. Journalists searched for the master of the wells – he turned out to be a resident of the village of Andriyashivka, 56-year-old Hennadiy Nepomniaschii. The man did not expect that he became a real star of social networks and explained that there was no pig in the well. “They raised me. I’ve been cleaning wells for a long time, so try to pull a 180-kilogram pig upstairs. I almost went, I had everything ready,” he commented. In the morning, it turned out that the “owners of the pigs” were acquaintances from a neighboring village who were drunk and decided to have fun. The audio recording was made by Gennady’s godfather’s son, 15-year-old Maksym. After the incident, the inventor of “pigs in the well” did not apologize to Gennady.
