Kiyanka Victoria Spivakovska ran more than 42 km with a child in a stroller during the marathon dedicated to the defenders of Ukraine.
The woman overcame the marathon distance in memory of her younger military brother Ostap Onistrat, who died on June 2, 2023 near Vugledar, a month before his 22nd birthday.
Now Viktoria Spivakovska’s marathon will enter the National Register of Records, Lana Vetrova, head of the register, announced on Facebook.
“When Victoria finished, all the people at VDNG rallied to congratulate her with applause. And even with such loud applause, the child was sleeping in the cart, that is, she was helping her mother run as much as she could.”she also said.

“The longest marathon in the world” was held on October 29 in the capital, but participation could be taken remotely anywhere in the world.
Runners could dedicate the distance they ran to the military, in particular to fallen heroes, medics, volunteers, rescuers and other people who bring victory closer.
