Buildings of civil protection of schools and kindergartens of Kyiv will be available to all people 24 hours a day. However, during the educational process, representatives of educational institutions of Kyiv will offer residents and guests of the city to use other shelters, reported the Kyiv City Military Administration. “First of all, to accommodate the children. Therefore, I ask the residents of Kyiv and guests of the city to be understanding, and not to run to the shelter of a school or kindergarten, if there is an alternative option nearby,” says the KMVA. If there is no other shelter nearby, you can use the shelter at the school or kindergarten. During the training, residents and guests of the city will be offered to use other shelters. “Your safety is a priority. Everyone, without exception, should be in a safe place when an air alert is announced,” says Serhii Popko, head of the KMVA. Earlier, the Kyiv Defense Council passed a decision on 24-hour access for residents of the capital to the equipped shelters in educational institutions.
