Lolita promised to restore the temple “on one of the new territories”

Actress and singer Lolita Milyavskaya recorded a video appeal to her listeners in which she complained about harassment. The singer said that her concerts in Russia were canceled at the request of members of the public, who consider her “insufficiently repentant”.

Lolita emphasized that she was “one of the first to give concerts in Donetsk and Luhansk” [видимо, после их перехода под контроль российских войск], and that for many years she provided charitable assistance to local hospitals, but did not advertise it. Now, according to her, she intends to take part in the restoration of the temple “on one of the new territories”. The Russian authorities and official mass media refer to the regions of Ukraine controlled by Russia as “new territories”.

Earlier it became known about the cancellation of Lolita’s jubilee concert tour in major cities of Russia. Concerts scheduled for March and April began to be canceled in December after Lolita’s participation in the so-called naked party in the Moscow club “Mutabor”, organized by blogger Anastasia Ivleeva. In the case of cancellations, the organizers either do not report the reasons, or refer to circumstances independent of the venues.

• As sources in the government, the State Duma and the presidential administration told The Moscow Times, the persecution of the party participants began by order of the Kremlin. They were accused of unpatriotic behavior, inappropriate in the conditions of hostilities in Ukraine. Subsequently, many celebrities who participated in the party recorded a video with public apologies and went with concerts to the occupied territories of Ukraine.
• On February 8, it became known that Milyavskaya entered the list of 77 artists and groups banned in Russia. Sources from the music industry reported that the organizers are prohibited from organizing events and placing outdoor advertising with the musicians included in the list.
