Conscripted men who illegally crossed Ukraine’s border after the start of a full-scale invasion will not escape liability for violations upon return.
This was announced by the spokesman of the State Border Service Andriy Demchenko on the telethon “Edyny Novyny”.
According to him, attempts to illegally cross the border are recorded daily.

“If someone illegally crossed the state border, in the future, when they return, they will be held accountable. This does not mean that if a person commits such a violation, he will escape punishment“, – said the spokesperson of the DPSU.
Andriy Demchenko added that most of the attempts take place outside the checkpoint on the border with Romania.
Fewer cases are recorded at the checkpoint on the border with Poland, when men use fake documents.
According to the spokesman, now there are significantly fewer cases of illegal crossing of the border compared to the beginning of the full-scale invasion, when on average 80-90 violators were detained during the day.
We previously reported that a pregnant woman tried to transport her husband abroad in a tire compartment, and both were detained.
